Ingredients

  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Reserve ½ cup pasta water.
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over low heat and sauté garlic until golden.
  • Add red pepper flakes and cook for another 30 seconds.
  • Toss in the cooked spaghetti and reserved pasta water. Mix well.
  • Season with salt and pepper, then add fresh parsley and Parmesan cheese.
  • Serve hot with extra cheese on top.
