Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves (packed)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ¼ cup pine nuts
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions

Step 1: Toast the Pine Nuts

  1. Lightly toast pine nuts in a dry pan over medium heat for 2 minutes until golden.
  2. Let them cool before blending.
