Chapli Kebab is a famous dish from Pashtun cuisine, known for its crispy texture and bold spices. These flavorful minced mutton patties are infused with herbs, onions, tomatoes, and traditional spices before being shallow-fried to perfection. Chapli Kebabs are typically served with naan, yogurt chutney, and fresh salad, making them a delicious and satisfying appetizer or main course.

Ingredients
- 500g minced mutton
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 2 tomatoes (chopped)
- 2-3 green chilies (chopped)
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp red chili flakes
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 2 tbsp cornflour
- 1 egg
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves (chopped)
- Cooking oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix minced mutton, onion, tomatoes, green chilies, and coriander leaves.
- Add ginger-garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili flakes, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.
- Add cornflour and egg. Mix until well combined.
- Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into round, flat kebabs.
- Heat oil in a frying pan and shallow-fry the kebabs on medium heat until golden brown on both sides.
- Serve hot with naan and chutney.
